Boyce, LA (April 13, 2024) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday evening at Hwy 28 West and St. Clair Road.
At approximately 7 PM, deputies responded to reports of a disturbance and shots fired in the parking lot of a convenience store located at LA 28 West and Saint Clair Road in Boyce, LA.
Initial reports suggest a physical altercation led to gunfire, resulting in two individuals sustaining gunshot wounds. Emergency services transported both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Sheriff’s Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit are currently on-site, conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation and shooting.
