RPSO Detectives Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Forest Hill Burglary

FOREST HILL, La. (2/18/2025) – RPSO Detectives are asking for assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a burglary near Forest Hill on February 18, 2025.

Patrol deputies responded to a business in the 11000 block of S US 165 after a reported break-in.

Sheriff’s detectives and the Crime Scene Unit arrived to investigate. Surveillance footage captured an unknown male suspect entering the business at 5:25 AM. The suspect forcefully removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe and cash register before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a male wearing jeans, black shoes, a black beanie-style hat, black gloves, and a black jacket with a grey hood. Authorities have released two images—one from night vision security footage and another in color.

Detectives are asking for assistance from the public in reviewing security camera, Ring, or Nest doorbell footagefrom 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Anyone who observed someone matching this description is urged to contact:
