Alexandria, La. (1/23/2026) – For the safety of our patients, colleagues and community, most non-urgent and non-emergent services at Rapides Regional Medical Center will either be closed or with reduced operating hours on Monday due to the winter storm forecast to impact Central Louisiana this weekend.
Services and departments that will be closed on Monday include:
- Rapides Specialty Clinic
- Cardiac Rehab
- HP Long Clinics
Services and departments that plan to open at noon on Monday include:
- Rapides Outpatient Center
- Rapides Cancer Center
- Rapides Regional Physician Group clinics
The Emergency Room of Rapides Regional Medical Center will remain open.
Preparations have been made to house on campus Rapides Regional Medical Center colleagues that are concerned about travel but have shifts scheduled for this weekend to ensure patient care is not impacted.
