Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigates Boyce Man Suspected of Multiple Murder Related Charges

Boyce, LA (March 19, 2024) — The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) is currently investigating a Boyce man suspected of multiple serious offenses, including 2 counts of 2nd-degree murder, 2 counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder, and 1 count of contempt of court.

Jett Miller, 33, of Boyce, Louisiana, was booked into Rapides Detention Center #1 on March 18, 2024, at 2:58 am by the RPSO. Initially, Miller was booked on charges of contempt of court and 2nd-degree murder.

However, additional charges were added later the same day, including 2 counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder and an additional count of 2nd-degree murder.

As the investigation unfolds, Miller’s current bond has been set at $3,501,500.

At this time, no further details regarding the case have been disclosed. However, it has been confirmed that the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the matter.
