Pineville, LA (7/13/2023) – On Wednesday, July 12, Rapides Parish Sheriff Mark Wood announced that he would be running for re-election to the Office of Sheriff.
He said, “I’m proud of what we have accomplished in the last three years. The men and women I work with in the department are the best and the most dedicated folks I’ve ever been around. The vision we had was to move the department to new heights, and with the help of my fellow deputies and my staff, we have now and continue to serve our parish and its citizens to make our parish a great place to live.”
The primary election for Sheriff will be held on October 14. 2023, Wood continued by saying, “I’m asking for your support; I’m asking for your vote because I want to be your Sheriff again. We got too much to do!”
