Rapides Parish female jail inmate charged with rape, total bond $1,650,000

Alexandria, La. (11/3/2022) – An female inmate at the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1 is now facing a charge of first-degree rape.

Jamaria Xavier Randle, 22, is now facing a charge of rape, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Inmate Inquiry System.

Randle is one of three charged with the murder of Deven Brooks.  According to the Alexandria Police Department, Brooks was found dead on the Red River with a headshot wound.

A trial date for the murder charge has been set for January 23, 2023.
