Alexandria, La. (2/1/2026) – Rapides Parish Coroner confirms two deaths investigated Saturday in Boyce and Alexandria, according to information provided by the Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office.
The Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office responded to the death of a 35-year-old woman from Monroe at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Saturday in the 7000 block of LA-1 in Boyce. Investigators said no foul play is suspected at this time. An autopsy is pending. The woman’s identity is being withheld pending location and notification of family.
The coroner’s office also responded at approximately 7:00 p.m. Saturday to the 3300 block of Jacks Drive in Alexandria. Investigators said the incident involved the natural death of an elderly woman inside her residence.
The Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office did not release the identities of either individual.
