Pineville stabbing victim dies from his injuries; suspects bond set at $1,002,000

Pineville, LA (7/27/2023) – The Pineville Police Department (PPD) reported the victim that was stabbed on Friday, July 21, 2023, died from the injuries.

PPD identified the victim as Mr. Kendrick Dixon Jr., 28.

On July 21, 2023, an altercation occurred at an apartment complex in the 600 Block of Fourth Street.

As a result of his passing, Alizae Goff’s initial charge of “Attempted” Second-degree murder was upgraded to Second-degree murder.

PPD Officers contacted Alizae Goff at the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1, where she was booked for the upgraded charge. Goff’s new bond was set at $1,002,000.
