Pineville Police Respond to Stabbing Incident, Suspect Arrested; Bond set at $250,500

Pineville, LA (6/8/2024) — On the evening of June 7, 2024, at approximately 10:21 PM, officers from the Pineville Police Department (PPD) responded to a report of a stabbing incident at 1316 Palmetto Street. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim received medical attention and is expected to recover.

The suspect, Ereonia White, a 23-year-old female, was identified as the assailant. She was located in a gray 2021 Nissan Altima parked at the Taco Bell on 28 East. Officers conducted a felony traffic stop, leading to White’s arrest without further incident.

Ereonia White has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and resisting an officer. The Pineville Police Department commends the response and professionalism of its officers, ensuring the safety of the community and bringing the suspect into custody.

As of this publication, White’s total bond has not been set.
