PINEVILLE, LA (6/28/2025) – A 43-year-old Pineville man has been arrested following a violent home invasion that included rape, arson, and the assault of two elderly residents.

On June 20, 2025, Pineville Police responded to the 100 block of Hilton Court after receiving a report of a home invasion. Investigators say the suspect entered the residence armed with a handgun, robbed the elderly homeowners, and demanded money and firearms. During the attack, one of the victims was sexually assaulted. The suspect then set the home on fire before fleeing the scene.

Pineville Police Chief Fore described the incident as “a heinous and unspeakable act of violence,” adding that the department will utilize every available resource to hold the perpetrator accountable.

After more than 100 man-hours of investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant on June 27 for Calvin Williams, age 43. He faces multiple charges, including:

  • 2 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder
  • 2 counts of False Imprisonment with a Dangerous Weapon
  • 1 count of Aggravated Burglary
  • 1 count of Home Invasion
  • 2 counts of Aggravated Assault
  • 1 count of First Degree Rape
  • 1 count of Obstruction of Justice

Williams had been released from custody just a week earlier on June 13 and was on parole stemming from a previous conviction. He is also a registered sex offender. He was initially detained on June 25 for parole violations related to the investigation. As of now, no bond has been set.

“This monstrous and depraved act is beyond disturbing,” the department said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. We are committed to seeking justice for them and for our community.”
