Grant Parish, LA (June 23, 2024) – The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals from Pineville and Colfax on multiple drug-related charges following a thorough investigation.
On June 22, 2024, deputies apprehended Deborah Beaver, Jimmy Funk, Jr., and Shawn Williams, suspected of involvement in illegal drug activities.
Deborah Beaver, 73, of Pineville, was charged with:
- Possession of Suboxone with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- An outstanding warrant
Jimmy Funk, Jr., 60, also of Pineville, was charged with:
- Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Shawn Williams, 33, of Colfax, was charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute
- Illegal Carrying of Weapons with Drugs
- Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute
- Illegal Use of Drugs in the Presence of a Child
The suspects were booked into the Grant Parish Detention Center awaiting further legal proceedings.
