Pineville, LA. (3/26/2023) – Pineville Police Department (PPD) reported on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:30 PM that the Pineville Police Department received a report of a pedestrian hit by a car on the Purple Heart Bridge.
According to an UrbanCast Follower, the incident occurred in the northbound lane going into Pineville.
Responding officers located a fatally struck female pedestrian on the bridge. Initial indications are the pedestrian stepped into the travel lane and was struck by a single vehicle.
