Opelousas, LA. (9/25/2022) – According to the Opelousas Police Department (OPD), officers responded to an early morning shooting on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
The police said the victim was shot at approximately 1:00 am while driving in a vehicle in the 1100 Block of Clare Drive in Opelousas. Multiple rounds also hit the car.
According to OPD, the victim succumbs to his injuries en route to a local hospital.
