Rapides Parish, La. (8/6/2022) – A new trial date was set for Brandon Francisco, 36, of Mansura, Louisiana. The new trial date is October 10, 2022. A week ago, Judge Greg Beard granted a mistrial on motions from the defense and prosecuting attorneys.
Francisco is charged with attempted second-degree murder on Christmas Eve 2018 in Cheneyville, Louisiana. Francisco is also the person of interest in the disappearance of Ella Goodie of Scott, Louisiana.
The prosecutors, in this case, are Attorney Johnny Giordano and Attorney Brian Cespiva. Attorney Tiffany Sanders represents Francisco.
