National EMS Academy EMT graduates Central Louisiana as four new professionals officially enter the emergency medical services field.
On December 15, 2025, the National EMS Academy announced the graduation of its final EMT class of the year.
The Academy, a sister company to Acadian Ambulance, trained the graduates to serve communities across Central Louisiana.
The new EMTs include Emily Carreno, Shyann Ramos, Samantha Sanders, and Michael Tucker.
Over 12 weeks, the graduates completed intensive coursework and hands-on emergency medical training.
Accordingly, the program emphasized real-world skills required during high-stress medical emergencies.
Director Timothy Dronet said the graduates gained tools that matter most on people’s hardest days.
He added that the program focused on growth, discipline, and patient-centered care.
The curriculum covered patient assessment, trauma response, and advanced airway management techniques.
In addition, students trained in cardiovascular and pediatric emergency care.
This training prepares graduates to deliver immediate, high-quality medical assistance in diverse emergency situations.
As a result, Central Louisiana gains four skilled responders ready to serve when seconds matter.
Meanwhile, the National EMS Academy continues recruiting future EMS professionals.
The next EMT course in Central Louisiana begins January 12, 2026, and will take place in Leesville.
