City Protect, the chosen service provider, uploads crime data several times a day, offering comprehensive information including incident type, date, location, and distance from citizens’ addresses. Additionally, case numbers are provided to identify specific incidents, along with detailed descriptions of crimes or incidents. Notably, citizens and businesses can register their cameras with law enforcement, potentially aiding in the collection of video evidence during investigations.
The introduction of City Protect marks a significant upgrade from the previous mapping service utilized by the Natchitoches Police Department over the past two decades.
