Natchitoches, LA (10/20/2023) – The Natchitoches Police Department (NPD) arrested a second individual in connection to the murder of an NSU Football Player.
Detectives with the NPD and agents with the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force have arrested Maurice Campbell II, 22, of Memphis, Tennessee, for obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Maurice Campbell II was a teammate of the deceased Ronald Caldwell.
Campbell II was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
