Natchitoches, LA (3/4/2023) – The Natchitoches Police Department (NPD) reported a man for a shooting in May 2022.
Jarvis Ocon, 26, of Natchitoches, was charged and arrested for second-degree murder. Ocon was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
On May 23, 2022, around 7:21 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the 1800 block of South Drive about a gunshot victim. Upon arriving, officers located a juvenile suffering from several gunshot wounds. The juvenile was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, where they were treated for injuries.
On March 1, 2023, investigators with the Natchitoches Police Department located Jarvis Ocon and arrested him without incident.
