Multiple Arrests Connected to Mud Fest Vehicle Burglaries, Bonds Set and Two Still Wanted

ALEXANDRIA, LA (5/12/2025) – Multiple arrests connected to Mud Fest were made following a string of vehicle burglaries during the annual event held April 25–27, 2025, in Rapides Parish.

RPSO Deputies working extra duty at Louisiana Mud Fest received approximately 12 burglary reports over Friday and Saturday night. Four suspects were quickly identified and arrested on probable cause.

Those initially arrested include:

Christopher Michael Walker Jr., 18 of Natchitoches

Bond: $175,000 (Released 5/7/2025)

Dorian Deonte Aught, 18 of Natchitoches

Bond: $175,000 (Remains in custody)

Jermaurion Tyrell Simmons, 18 of Natchitoches

Bond: $10,500 (Released 4/26/2025)

Damon Amonte Miller, 23 of Coushatta

Bond: $200,500 (Remains in custody)

As the investigation progressed, detectives identified four additional suspects:

Jordan Daniels, 17 of Natchitoches

Bond: $200,500 (Remains in custody)

Justin Cornell Madison, 19 of Natchitoches

Bond: $12,000 (Released 5/6/2025)

LChristian McDaniel, 20 of Natchez

Bond: $12,000 (Released 5/6/2025)

Ryan Babineaux, 20 of Natchitoches

Bond: $75,000 (Released 5/10/2025)

Detectives say Babineaux was allegedly found in possession of stolen property. Miller, who was already in custody, was re-arrested on an additional burglary charge during the course of the investigation.

On May 6, 2025

On May 6, 2025, with the help of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and the NPSO SWAT Team, authorities executed arrest and search warrants at several locations in Natchitoches Parish. Stolen property was recovered at multiple residences.

All suspects were booked as Louisiana fugitives at LaSalle Correctional Center–Natchitoches and later transferred to the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

6 counts of Simple Burglary, 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
