Monroe, LA. (9/23/2022) – According to the Monroe Police Depart (MPD), shortly before 12:30 A.M. on September 23, 2022, officers with the department were sent to the 1100 Block of Richwood Road about a shooting.
Officers located a male and female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The female victim passed away as a result of her injuries.
Additional detectives were called to the scene and are actively investigating the incident. MPD will release information as the case develops.
