Update: “Located” MISSING PERSON ALERT: Leonard Lemmons

Jonesville, LA (April 15, 2024) — The search for Leonard Lemmons, a 67-year-old resident of Deville, LA, continues as authorities seek assistance from the community. Leonard was last seen on the night of April 14, 2024, in the vicinity of Dewey Wills Wildlife Refuge.

Leonard was wearing a camouflage shirt and underwear at the time of his disappearance. He has no known medical history. Leonard is described as a white male, standing at 5’11” and weighing approximately 240 lbs.

Search and Rescue crews are actively scouring the area for any sign of Leonard. The Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office has established a Command Center to coordinate search efforts. The Command Center is located at Cross Bayou Rd., Jonesville, LA, with coordinates (31.38737 degree N, 92.00497 degree W). Limited water and MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat) are available for a limited time at the Command Center.

For those who wish to contribute to the search effort, donations of supplies can be dropped off at the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office, located at 301 Bushley St., Harrisonburg, LA, 71340.
