St. Landry Parish, LA (10/11/2023) – The family and St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office ask for the public’s assistance in locating Mark Sherod Powell.
Mark was last seen on Sunday, October 8, 2023, leaving the address of 379 Anointing Drive in the Opelousas area, driving his grandmother’s white 2015 Nissan Altima.
The vehicle was found in Alexandria today around noon, near mile marker 85 (Elliot Street). The vehicle also had a Louisiana State Police Vehicle Removal Tag dated October 8, 2023, with a time stamp of 8:30 a.m.
Mark is described as a 26-year-old black male who is 5′-7″ and weighs approximately 165 lbs. His clothing description is unknown.
