UPDATE: The suspect is a 19-year-old male Black driving a light blue Infiniti.

UPDATE: the vehicle reportedly has a red dealer tag and a rear window busted out.

MEMPHIS, TN – On September 7, 2022, at 12:05 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 4100 Block of Riverdale Road at the Marathon Gas Station. The victim was located and had a gunshot wound in his leg. The victim was trying to purchase gas when a gray 2011 Ford Escape pulled up next to him. A black male in the rear passenger seat jumped out and began to chase the victim and fired shots at him, striking him in the leg. The vehicle was last seen westbound on East Raines Road from Riverdale Road.
The suspect was a black male with small dreads wearing a black hat and white shirt.
The driver was an unknown male black with small dreads.

No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
