RAPIDES PARISH, La. (1/24/2025) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office seeks public help in locating a man wanted for domestic abuse battery with a child present.
Shelby Ryan Walden, a 49-year-old white male, is the suspect in question.
Walden is described as 6’4”, weighing 185 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his left arm and left ankle and was last seen in Ball, Louisiana. Walden may be traveling in a gray 2001 Toyota Tundra with Louisiana license plate Y458060.
Walden’s criminal history includes prior convictions for domestic abuse battery, possession of a firearm by a felon, and resisting an officer.
