Man Wanted for Child Sexual Assault Detained by Sabine Deputies and Turned Over to ICE

SABINE PARISH, La. (3/25/2025) – A man wanted by ICE was detained by Sabine Parish Deputies after a traffic stop on March 24, 2025.

Sheriff Aaron Mitchell confirmed Rigoberto Sanchez Dominguez, 34, was pulled over on LA Highway 476 for a traffic violation.

Dominguez did not have a driver’s license but showed deputies a Mexican identification card. Deputies contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after running his information.

ICE informed deputies that Dominguez was wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child in Texas.

The warrant dated back to November 17, 2023.

Deputies immediately transported Dominguez to the Sabine Parish Detention Center.

From there, ICE agents took him into federal custody.
