Alexandria, La. (11/6/2022) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) Troopers are investigating an RPSO deputy-involved shooting. The shooting occurred on 7th Street, just off Broadway Avenue, within the Alexandria City Limits.
LSP is investigating at the request of Rapides Parish Sheriff Mark Wood.
One person was pronounced dead on the scene.
A deputy sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The scene is still active; please avoid the area.
