Alexandria, La. (11/20/2022) – The investigation of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Involved shooting on November 6, 2022, is still active and ongoing. Derrick Kittling was shot and killed by Deputy Rodney Anderson.
A Critical Incident Briefing Video (CIBV) has been produced and includes a body-worn camera, dashboard camera, and bystander recording footage.
Only facts are given in the CIBV, and some recordings have been redacted to afford involved individuals their right to privacy or protect witnesses and/or victims.
