In the 14th Senatorial District (Baton Rouge), Larry Selders (D) won with 62% of the vote (4,153 votes). Carolyn Hill (D) received 20% (1,355 votes), while Quentin Anthony Anderson (D) finished with 17% (1,149 votes).

The total vote count was 6,657, while approximately 70,074 voters were eligible. The 9.5% turnout reflected widespread voter disengagement.

In the 23rd Senatorial District (Lafayette), Brach Myers (R) secured victory with 55% of the vote (6,769 votes). Jesse Regan (R) followed with 45% (5,591 votes).

The district saw 12,360 total votes, though around 87,660 voters were eligible. Turnout stood at 14.1%, leaving most residents uninvolved in the decision.

The Louisiana Senate election turnout underscores ongoing challenges in civic engagement across the state.
