Lena, LA (3/10/2023) – In a case of if you can do it, so can we; the Northwood Gators boys team advanced to the championship game on Wednesday with a 62-47 victory over St. Martin’s Episcopal. With the victory, the boys of Northwood left open the possibility of joining the Lady Gators as state champions.
The Lady Gators became back-to-back champs last week.
If this group of boys can get one more victory, it would be unprecedented for Cenla High School Sports!!
When was the last time a school in Cenla won girls’ and boys’ titles in the same year? I can’t recall it happening, and with that in mind, come on, Gators, let’s make history and make Cenla proud in the process!!
