Lake Charles, LA – Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a man was arrested for raping a 10-year-old girl.
On May 27 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at a residence in Sulphur about a rape in progress of a girl under the age of 10.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they observed the suspect, Randy M. Alston, 68, Sulphur, leaving the neighborhood in his truck. Deputies stopped him, and after further investigation, he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1st-degree rape.
Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $300,000.
