Karan Corley Announces Candidacy for Clerk of Court for Rapides Parish

ALEXANDRIA, La. (1/16/2025) – Karan Corley, who is currently serving as the Clerk of Court for Rapides Parish, has made an official announcement regarding her candidacy for the upcoming election for Clerk of Court. 

With over 37 years of dedicated service in the Rapides Parish Clerk’s Office, Karan Corley brings extensive experience and a proven track record of leadership to the position. Corley has been instrumental, first in her role as Chief Deputy Clerk of Court and now as Clerk of Court, in implementing key enhancements to online record access and eRecording systems, ensuring greater efficiency and accessibility for residents. Her campaign will center on her commitment to preserving public records, safeguarding election integrity, and maintaining the office’s high standards of service to the community.
