Alexandria, LA (1/5/2026) – Ja’Darius “Bud” Clark has officially declared for the NFL Draft, marking a major milestone in his football journey.
After prayer, reflection, and conversations with those closest to him, the TCU defensive back said he felt prepared for the next step.
Clark credited God for providing the talent, health, discipline, and opportunity to pursue his childhood dream. He said faith guided his path, even during moments when the plan was unclear.
The journey, however, was neither easy nor short. Early mornings, late nights, setbacks, and sacrifice shaped Clark into the player and man he is today. Through football, he learned discipline, resilience, accountability, and perseverance.
Clark expressed gratitude to his family for unconditional love and support throughout every high and low. He also thanked coaches from his earliest playing days through his time at TCU for believing in him and holding him to a high standard.
Teammates played a vital role in Clark’s development. He praised the brotherhood, competition, and shared battles that created lifelong bonds and memories. Clark said he would not be in this position without them.
