Pineville/Alexandria, LA (8/9/2023) – The Pineville Police Department (PPD) reported a high-speed chase that started in Pineville and ended in Alexandria.
On August 9, 2023, at 3:45 pm, an Officer with PPD attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Stolen Vehicle. The vehicle’s driver refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued into Alexandria on LA Highway 1.
The vehicle left the roadway and overturned on Industrial Park Site Road, ejecting two subjects.
The driver and passenger were transported to a local hospital. Alexandria Police Department (APD) is working on the accident, and PPD is working on the incident.
