Alexandria, LA (9/7/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department reported a shooting in the Harmony Village Apartments (formerly Sunset) on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
At approximately 04:00 PM, APD responded to the 2900 block of Monroe, Harmony Village, about gunshots being fired at a vehicle. Neither the victims nor the suspects were on the scene when the police arrived.
Sources on the scene observed Coaches at Alexandria Middle Magnet scrambling to protect students practicing in the school’s field.
At the time of this release, there have been no reported injuries related to this incident.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
