Atlanta, GA (8/24/2023) – Former President Donald Trump has just now surrendered to Fulton County authorities for his role in attempting to circumvent the results of the 2020 elections in GA.
Trump, along with 18 others, have all now turned themselves in. Despite being indicted in 3 other states for similar charges, The Fulton County Sheriff made it abundantly clear that Trump and the individuals involved would all have their photos taken and mugshots made available to the public.
Despite facing four indictments and over 230 years in jail, Trump is still the front-runner by a wide margin to be the Republican party nominee for the 2024 Presidential election. Some national polls even show him as the favorite to unseat Joe Biden.
It will be interesting to see how this turns out. It is unclear if his eligibility will remain if he is on trial or convicted of crimes during the election cycle.
