COLFAX, La. (11/25/2025) – An investigation by the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Prisons led to four arrests this week.
Deputies say the men attempted to smuggle contraband into the Federal Prison in Grant Parish.
Joshua Gray, 31, of Lafayette, was arrested for taking contraband into a penal institution. Moreover, authorities say Gray played an active role in the attempt.
Nathaniel Mouton, 36, also of Lafayette, was arrested in the same investigation. Deputies charged Mouton with taking contraband into a penal institution.
Additionally, Kameryn Robertson, 20, of Breaux Bridge, was arrested. Robertson faces the same charge of taking contraband into a penal institution.
Finally, deputies arrested Christian Fitzgerald, 42, of Lafayette. Fitzgerald was also charged with taking contraband into a penal institution.
Officials say these arrests highlight ongoing efforts to stop contraband smuggling at the Federal Prison. Furthermore, they noted that the investigation remains active.
