Natchitoches, LA (2/27/2024) – At 2:31 pm, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Louisiana State Police (LSP), Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, Natchitoches Parish Fire District #9, and Life Air Evac helicopter responded to a motorcycle crash on US-71 near Marcelli Road, north of Clarence, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Two individuals sustained moderate to severe injuries and are currently being transported to regional trauma centers for treatment.
The Louisiana State Police, Troop E is investigating the crash.
Further details regarding the cause of the incident and the condition of the individuals involved are pending investigation by the LSP. Citizens are urged to exercise caution and remain vigilant while traveling through the area as authorities work to clear the scene.
