Ferriday, La. (10/5/2022) – According to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO), on September 22, 2022, the CPSO Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation into the sexual battery of a child after receiving the report from a family member. After reporting the incident, immediate child safety measures were taken to ensure the child’s safety. An arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect based on additional evidence gathered during the process.
On October 4, 2022, around 5:00 PM, CPSO detectives executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence with the assistance of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crime Unit. During the search, the suspect was taken into custody without incident when his electronic devices were seized, along with suspected methamphetamine and multiple firearms.
