Jena, LA (5/13/2024) – The LaSalle Parish Healthy Initiatives Coalition, in partnership with the CLHSD, is organizing a Fan Drive and Giveaway event to support families in need during the upcoming summer months. This initiative aims to provide relief from the heat by distributing fans to households in the community.
Each family attending the event will receive one fan, helping them stay cool and comfortable as temperatures rise. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring any unused, unneeded, or expired medications for safe disposal on-site.
In addition to the fan distribution, the event will offer valuable resources and information on health-related topics. HPV and Shingles vaccines will also be available on-site, providing an opportunity for attendees to access important preventive healthcare services.
