Milwaukee, Wi. (12/2/2022) – According to the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) A 10-year-old boy is suspected of shooting and killing his own mother: because she would not buy him a virtual reality headset on Amazon.
The boy’s grandmother says he told her he was sorry for killing his mom, then asked if his package had arrived, according to the criminal complaint.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday, November 21, 2022, at approximately 6:50 a.m., on the 7400 block of N. 87th Street. A 10-year-old child was playing with a firearm when it discharged subsequently striking the victim. The victim, a 44-year-old Mil, sustained fatal injuries.
No arrests were made at this time. This incident will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for review. MPD would like to remind the public to keep firearms secured with a gun lock and out of the reach of children.
