Vidalia, LA (3/28/2023) – Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) reported on March 27, 2023, a DeRidder man was arrested for cyber crimes involving a minor.
Michael S. Miller, 46, of DeRidder, Louisiana was charged with computer aided solicitiation of a minor and indecent behavior with juveniles.
On Marach 20 the CPSO Cyber Crime Unit began investigating Miller, communicating with what they believed to be a minor online for sexual purposes.
During the chat, the Miller engaged in a conversation, expressing his desire to impregnate the minor and take them on road trips.
After Miller positively identified, a warrant was obtained for his arrest, and he was taken into custody yesterday, March 27, 2023, by the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO).
Concordia’s Sheriff Hedrick thanked the BPSO for their quick assistance in the investigation.
