Alexandria, LA (8/10/2024) – Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting incident on the 2200 block of Polk Street. The incident occurred around 8:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024. Officers discovered a person suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. Following the incident, police arrested 37-year-old Zachary Bonier of Alexandria, LA. He faces charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
