Natchitoches, LA (1/21/2023) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) reported a Coushatta man was arrested in the deaths of three Southern University students and members of the Human Jukebox.
Clyde Gay, 63, of Coushatta, Louisiana, was arrested on three counts of negligent homicide on January 12, 2023.
The initial investigation revealed the student’s vehicle was stalled on the shoulder of the road. For reasons still under investigation, the 18-wheeler struck the left side of the student’s vehicle, fatally injuring all three on the scene.
Gay’s bond is set at $300,000; as of this article, Gay remains in jail.
