Pineville, LA (2/3/2023) – Pineville Lady Rebels, led by Coach Tillisha Wenslow, will host Alexandria Lady Trojans, led by Coach Jimmy Wenslow. Wife vs. husband. This is not the first time the Wenslows faced off against each other, but it will be an exciting game to watch.
Both coaches come from competitive backgrounds and are highly passionate about what they do. In 2018, Coach Tillisha (Givens) Wenslow was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Louisiana College (currently Louisiana Christian University). Coach Jimmy Wenslow and the Lady Trojans are currently in first place in the district in girl’ basketball.
Coach T. Wenslow said she’s preparing for this game just like her team does against competitors. She agrees that both coaches are intense but says of the two, her husband is “meaner.” She predicts a win by the Lady Rebels by 3 points. Her advice for her husband is “keep moving.”
Coach J. Wenslow said he’s also treating this like any other game and focusing on preparing his girls. He doesn’t want to get caught up in the hype, and his advice to his wife is, “let’s work.” He is confident that the Lady Trojans will beat the Lady Rebels.
They are the proud parents of two sons, Micah and Jaxson, who will be rooting for them in the stands.
