Central Louisiana Weather Forecast for 9/30/2024: Dry Start, Rain and Tropical Disturbance by Week’s End

The Central Louisiana weather forecast for 9/30/2024 shows a dry start to the week, with temperatures reaching the low 90s.

Monday and Tuesday will see highs between 89-94°F with overnight lows in the high 60s to low 70s. Conditions will remain mostly clear, and the warmest temperatures will be near coastal regions. However, by midweek, temperatures will cool slightly with highs of 87-92°F, as cloud coverage begins to build.

Rain chances will increase significantly on Thursday, with scattered thunderstorms possible. Friday and Saturday continue the trend with a 20-50% chance of rain. High temperatures are expected to range between 84-90°F, while overnight lows dip into the mid-60s.

A developing tropical disturbance in the western Caribbean could also affect Central Louisiana by midweek. According to the National Hurricane Center, the disturbance has a 50% chance of becoming a tropical depression within seven days. If the system strengthens, it may contribute to higher rain chances later in the week.

As we approach the weekend, keep an eye on updates to ensure you’re prepared for potential changes in the Central Louisiana weather forecast.
