Central Louisiana Technical Community College Ranked #1 Community College in Louisiana for 2026

ALEXANDRIA, LA., (2/24/2026) – Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) has been named the #1 Community College in Louisiana for 2026 by Niche, a nationally recognized, data-driven college ranking platform. This marks the third consecutive year CLTCC has been the top ranked Community College in Louisiana, and with a national ranking of 21.

The annual rankings evaluate public junior colleges, technical schools, and two-year institutions using U.S. Department of Education data, key performance metrics, and verified student reviews. CLTCC earned the top ranking based on affordability, value, accessibility, and student outcomes.

CLTCC maintains a 100% acceptance rate and an average net price of approximately $6,134 per year, with five campuses located throughout Central Louisiana. The college received high marks for overall value, reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality, workforce-focused education at an affordable cost.
