Winn Parish, LA (4/17/2023) – Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a shooting that claimed the life of a 51-year-old man.
On April 15, 2023, around 10:30 pm, WPSO received a call for a shooting in the 4900 Block of LA 501 North in Calvin, Louisiana.Â
Upon arrival, WPSO Deputies found Kevin Chad Camp, 51, suffering from a gunshot wound. Camp was pronounced deceased by the Winn Parish Coroner’s Office.
A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with the death of Camp. The juvenile is being held at the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with manslaughter.
Camp was the Head Softball Coach at Calvin High School.
