Bond set for woman accused in the Pineville stabbing on Fourth Street

Pineville, LA (7/23/2023) – A $252,000 bond has been set for a Pineville woman accused of stabbing a man in a Pineville apartment on Fourth Street on Friday evening.

Alizae Dejournae Goff, 22, of Pineville, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, resisting an officer, and contempt of court. 

Pineville Police Department (PPD) did not release a motive but did say the incident is under investigation 

The PPD press release said on July 21, 2023, at 7:30 pm, the PPD responded to the 600 Block of Fourth Street for a reported disturbance.  Upon PPD Officers’ arrival, it was discovered that one subject had been stabbed during the altercation. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance Service and remains in critical condition.
