ALEXANDRIA, La. (1/15/2024) – Alexandria police are investigating after a body was found in the 1700 block of Thornton Court on January 15, 2025.
The deceased has been identified by the Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office as 70-year-old John Gallo. Mr. Gallo was a Polk Street resident, which is near the location where he was found.
Initial findings indicate no foul play, and there is no indication the death is due to current weather conditions. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
