Beauregard Parish, LA – On Monday, July 22nd, the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into an alleged sexual battery case. By Wednesday, July 24th, investigators had gathered sufficient evidence to arrest Andrew Guidry, 32, on two counts of sexual battery.
Guidry was subsequently booked into the Beauregard Parish jail, with bond set at $100,000.00, amounting to $50,000 per count.
The investigation revealed that between 2020 and 2023, Guidry knowingly and intentionally engaged in sexually inappropriate contact with a juvenile on multiple occasions.
The second charge stems from another incident during the same period, further compounding the allegations against him.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. They urge anyone with additional information regarding the case to come forward and assist in their efforts to bring justice to the victims.
